Champlain Commons Project Update: 6-7-19

General Site Work:

• Waterline has been tested.
• Sidewalks 60% complete.
• National Grid 50% complete with primary gas & electric.  Three transformers set in place.
• Light poles have been installed.

Building 1: Community Center

• Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing finishes are ongoing.
• Door hardware ongoing.

Building 2:

• Furnace install near complete.
• Water heater install ongoing.
• Carpet install mid-June.

Building 3:

• Drywall hang is complete & drywall finish is ongoing.

Building 4:

• Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing has been tested & inspected.

Building 5:

• Vinyl siding install ongoing.

Building 6:

• Cabinet & countertop install ongoing.

Building 7: 

• Furnace & water heater install ongoing.
• Door hardware install ongoing.

Project Update: 2-18-19

General Site Work:

• Import/export of soils 90% complete
• Water service piping scheduled to start by end of February
• Sanitary piping 60% complete

Building 1 - Community Center (photo 12)

• Shingle roofing has begun
• Framing is substantially complete
  with windows & doors installed

Building 2: (photos 13 & 14)

• Building has been dried-in (weatherproofed) with all exterior doors, windows & shingles installed
• Mechanical, electrical & plumbing started;s hould take about 2 weeks 

Building 3:

• Slab pour set for week of Feb. 18

Building 6:

• Roof trusses to be set week of Feb. 18
• Sheathing set for week of Feb. 25

• Cut/fill of storm pond  delayed
  due to weather
• Sanitary piping 40% complete

Building 1 - Community Center

• Roof trusses installation under way week of Feb. 4 (see photo 9)
• Door & window installation starts week of Feb. 11

Building 2: (see photo 10)

• Framing nears substantial completion with roof sheathed
• Windows and roofing to start
  week of Feb. 11

Building 6:

• Slab poured 1-29-19
• First floor walls installed
  week of Feb. 4

Building 7:  (see photo 11)

• First floor framing complete
• Second floor walls & roof trusses
  to be complete week of Feb. 11

Building 8:

• Slab scheduled to be poured
  week of Feb. 4

General Site Work:

• Import/export of soils 50% complete
• Cut/fill of storm pond scheduled for week of 1-14-19
• Sanitary & storm drain install begun
  1-11-19 and will be ongoing

Building 1 - Community Center

• Slab poured 1-15-19 (see photo 1)
• Wall panels and trusses delivered on  1-18-19

Building 2:

• Framing started 1-9-19 (see photo 2)
• Second floor construction begun week of 1-14-19

Building 3:

• Fill import & compaction complete

Building 6:

• CMU block walls complete
• Underground plumbing work ongoing
• Slab pour scheduled week of 1-21-19

Building 7: 

• Underground plumbing complete

• Slab pour scheduled week of 1-21-19

Building 8:

• CMU walls and backfill complete
• Insulation and back fill ongoing

Project Update: 1-7-2019

Building 1 - Community Center:

• Underground plumbing under way
• Slab pour set for 1-10-19

Building 2:

• Underground plumbing complete
• Slab poured 1-3-19 (see photo)

Building 3:

• Fill import and compaction under way (see photo)

Building 6:

• Foundation walls started

Building 7:

• Backfill in progress
• Underground plumbing to start week of 1-7-19

Building 8:

• Pad has been laid out and footings started

Stormwater Management Area 2 (Retention Pond):

• Has been roughed in and is being used

Site Work:

• Import/Export of soils for buildings 1, 2, 6 & 7 90% complete; backfilling 6 & 7
• Import/Export of soils for building 3 under way. Soil compaction and testingare ongoing (see photo)
• Building 8 import/export is near completion
• Site utility piping has been delayed due to weather and is scheduled to begin 1-7-19.
