Excellus BlueCross BlueShield Employees Help Prepare Fulton Community Garden
Employees of Excellus BlueCross BlueShield volunteered their time to help the Nutrition Collaboration of Oswego County prepare the Fulton Community Garden for upcoming growing season. "Excellus BlueCross BlueShield is proud of its employees, who not only give their all on the job to meet the needs of our members, health care providers and clients, but also volunteer to help many different community organizations," said Jim Reed, regional president, Excellus BlueCross BlueShield. "The group of employees that helped prepared the community garden beds in Fulton represents just some of our employees who give their time and their talents to make a difference in the communities where we all live and work."
Located at John Lincoln Park, the Fulton Community Garden Project offers Fulton City residents the opportunity to have their own garden bed to grow vegetables, herbs, or flowers. For information on the Fulton Community Garden and to apply for a garden bed, contact OCO Nutrition Services Coordinator Lori Halstead at 315-598-4712.
