OCO Clubhouse Program Underway
OCO is ready to get the word out about its Clubhouse Program and the many opportunities for youth in Oswego County.
The OCO Clubhouse Program, funded through a grant from NYS Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS), provides a safe, inviting space that is inclusive for young people 12-17 and young adults 18-21 to develop pro-social skills that promote long-term health wellness recovery and a drug free lifestyle. The Clubhouse Program connects youth to community supports, increases youth-adult partnerships, and reduces the stigma people in recovery face.
Mitchell’s Speedway Press recently provided promotional materials to help staff and youth members get the word out about the program. “We greatly appreciate the generous donation that will help promote our program and we thank Mitchell’s Speedway Press for supporting our mission”, said Toni Ross program manager of the OCO Clubhouse.
The Clubhouse operates scheduled drop-in type sessions Tuesday through Saturday at the OCO Midtown Plaza location, 18 East Cayuga Street in Oswego, offering a variety of activities & supports for youth & families. For more information on program activities please contact Toni Ross at 315-342-7532 or tross@oco.org.
