Oswego Business Supports March for Meals
Tara Hoyt, OCO Nutrition Services, stops by La Parilla Restaurant in Oswego to collect donations to OCO’s Meals on Wheels program and thank owner Ray Jock for supporting OCO’s March for Meals campaign. As part of the campaign OCO placed paper van donation boxes at businesses throughout Oswego County. All donations will be used to support OCO Nutrition Services’ Meals on Wheels program and its six Dining and Activity Centers. “We greatly appreciate the support we received from caring businesses such as La Parilla, said OCO Nutrition Services Coordinator Bridget Dolbear. “Our paper vans were on display at more than 20 businesses and raised $290 for our Meals on Wheels program.” For information on OCO Nutrition Services and its programs visit the OCO Senior Centers page on Facebook or log on to www.oco.org. OCO Nutrition Services programs are partially supported through grants from OCO partners: Oswego County Office for the Aging; New York State Office for the Aging; and the United Way of Greater Oswego, Inc.
