Oswego County Recognizes Sexual Assault Awareness Month

Oswego County Legislator District 5, Roy E. Reehill, Chairman of the Human Services Committee, presents representatives from OCO Services to Aid Families Program (SAF) with a certificate proclaiming April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month in Oswego County. The Oswego County Legislature joins advocates and communities across the country in playing an active role to prevent sexual violence. Dr. Dykas spoke about Circles of Security and how it benefits adults in building better parenting skills and providing a secure environment for their children. Mr. Hilts shared personal experience with Circles of Security and the positive impact it has had on his family. The guest speakers were arranged by Jen Woodward.
