Photo Contest to Benefit OCO Nutrition Services

Do you have an eye for photography?  Can you find the beauty beyond 60?  Then you’ll want to enter the Oswego County Opportunities (OCO) March for Meals ‘”Beyond 60” Photo Contest.

Sponsored by OCO Nutrition Services the “Beyond 60 Photo Contest” is part of the programs’ participation in the March for Meals campaign, a national campaign focused on raising awareness of senior hunger.

The “Beyond 60 Photo Contest” is open to all community members and offers prizes of $100 for first place, $50 for second place, and $30 for third place.  Winning photos will be posted on the Nutrition Services page of the OCO website, www.oco.org

“We encourage community members to enter interesting photographs that capture the beauty, or amazement of a person, place or object that is over the age of 60,” said OCO Nutrition Services Coordinator Bridget Dolbear. “Entries will be posted on the OCO Nutrition Services Facebook page and its OCO website page.  1st prize is $100, 2nd place $50 and 3rd place $30. Registration forms are available by calling Nutrition Services at 315-598-4712, online at www.oco.org/nurition, the OCO Senior Centers page on Facebook, or via email at bdolbear@oco.org .”

Entries will be accepted through March 31 and may be submitted via e-mail to bdolbear@oco.org or mailed to Oswego County Opportunities, Attn. Bridget Dolbear, 239 Oneida Street, Fulton NY 13069.
